Inflation moves up to 4.14%

Inflation rose to 4.14% during the week ended July 9, 2005, mainly due to costlier food, non-food products and minerals.

The point-to-point inflation based on the wholesale price index (WPI) rose 0.05% from the previous week's 4.09%. The inflation was as high as 7.44% in the year-ago period.
