The Mangalore office of the ING Vysya Life has started functioning. Speaking to reporters on the occasion, Gautam Sharma, its vice-president(marketing), said ING Vysya Life , which established its operations in Bangalore in September 2001, had evolved as a distinctive life insurance brand with an innovative nd customer friendly product portfolio.
It distributes its products in close co-operation with ING Vysya Bank through a corporate agency model.
It has a strong portfolio of eight innovative and traditional life insurance products to offer namely Reassuring Life Endowment Plan with cash bonus, Reassuring Life Endowment Plan with reversionary bonus, Maximising Life Money Back Plan, Fulfiling Life Anticipated Whole Life Plan, Rewarding Life Whole of life Plan, Conquering Life Critical Illness Plan, Powering Life Limited Payment Endowment Plan, and Creating Life Child Protection Plan.
It had over 25,000 customers at the end of 2002 and achieved a premium income of Rs 15 crore in 2002.
