Intelligroup Hives Off Arms In Asia-Pacific To Singapore Firm

Intelligroup Inc. a US- based strategic IT outsourcing services provider, sold its Asia-Pacific group of subsidiary companies, operating in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Indonesia, to a Singapore-based company - Soltius Global Solutions PTE, part of SDI Technologies Group which has operations in Asia-Pacific, Europe and the United States.

For the past three years, Soltius has been the company's business partner for provision of services in Indonesia. Intelligroup will become a minority shareholder in Soltius, owning 5 per cent of the voting capital stock.

Intelligroup's Asian operations are headquartered at Hyderabad. Out of the 900-plus consultants the group has globally, more than 400 are working at the Hyderabad centre.
