International tourism expo from January 30

India Travel Mart (ITM), a leading international travel and tourism exhibition, will be held in Ahmedabad from January 30 to February 1.

Organised by the Global Management, ITM will showcase the best from travel, tourism, aviation, hospitality and other related industries, organisers said. ITM exhibition will focus on the outbound, inbound and domestic tourism.

International tourism boards and organisations from Malaysia, Dubai and South Africa, Star Cruises, state tourism departments from Gujarat, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh and Delhi, the Kumaon Mandal Vikash Nigam, the Garhwal Mandal Vikash Nigam, India Tourism, Indian Railways, the Vaishnodevi Shrine Board, leading five-star and other hotel chains, hotel resorts, palaces, travel agencies, tour operators, tour organisations, banks and insurance companies, amusement and water parks from different parts of the country and abroad will display and offer information on their destinations, attractive holiday packages and new products.

Ajay Gupta, managing director, Global Management, said, "This year, the mart will be bigger than that in the last year with more than 100 participants from India and abroad attending it. We have more new participants this time. The focus of the exhibition will be pilgrimage tourism, adventure tourism, eco tourism, health tourism, and wildlife destinations."
