Indian Oil Corporation and the Tatas have emerged as front-runners for a strategic stake in IBP and Videsh Sanchar Nigam Limited, respectively. The Cabinet Committee on Disinvestment is scheduled to meet tomorrow to finalise the bids.
Official sources declined to give any information and said that a decision on the final winner of the bids would be taken tomorrow.
