Isi Activities Under Control, Says Gupta

Union home minister Indrajit Gupta yesterday night said that the activities of Pakistani intelligence service (ISI) in the country was under control.

There could be some activities but it has been there for several years, Gupta, who arrived here from Calcutta, for an overnight stay, told reporters while responding to a question on ISI activities.

You cannot always identify such activities, he said.

When a newsmen asked about LTTE activities, particularly in Tamil Nadu, Gupta said that he had sought for a report from the government.

Asked about the CPIs stand on womens reservations bill, Gupta said what is there to tell. We have been supporting it from the beginning.

 

Gupta will leave for Kochi today by a special aircraft.
