The government today allowed information technology-enabled service companies to share bandwidth on a time-sharing mode.
The move will allow firms to use the same facility and bandwidth to service Indian and international clients, which is not permitted under the present norms.
Company executives said the move would result in effective utilisation of resources and help in avoiding duplication of investments.
