Italians keen to invest in Kerala

Keen on investing in India, and Kerala in particular, a delegation of young entrepreneurs and managers from Italy was in the state capital on a study tour of the state.
 
Speaking to the media as part of an interactive session jointly organised by the Kerala State Industrial Development Corporation (KSIDC) and the private sector players in the state, the members of the delegation, under the umbrella of 'Leaders of the Future', said that on their return to their country they would open an India file in a bid to take the lessons learnt during the visit forward on a positive note.
 
According to the Leaders of the Future delegation, the main segments in the Kerala economy, which sparked interest among them include real estate, food processing, information technology and tourism.
 
The delegation,as part of their 'study tour' met government's top brass and expressed keenness on investing in Kerala, said Roney Simon, director of Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (Ficci)'s Italy office.
 
The team of 30 young managers and entrepreneurs comprised experts from various fields of science, technology,banking and real estate.
