Partners of the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) are making an attempt to come together to pressurise the government to roll back the price hike in fertilisers and kerosene.
Janata Dal (U) , an important coalition partner, has demanded immediate withdrawal of the fertiliser and kerosene price hike. A meeting of the JD (U) parliamentary party passed a resolution to this effect in the presence of labour minister Sharad Yadav today.
