The Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI), a joint collaboration of Indiana University and Purdue University, is aiming to double its intake of Indian students for the next academic year, from the current 220.
Launching its undergraduate degree in energy engineering, a four-year bachelor’s degree programme, Patricia Biddinger, director, said, “We have noticed a tremendous interest among Indian students in this energy engineering filed. We would like to invite the potential aspirants to IUPUI.”
IUPUI offer a scholarship of $500,000 to meritorious Indian students at the graduate level and $100,000 for under-graduate students. The recently launched programmes are motorsports engineering, informatics and philanthropic studies.
IUPUI offers more than 10,000 classes, 250 degree programmes, and has 30,000 students from 140 countries.
