This assurance was given by Union commerce minister Arun Jaitley to Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Mufti Mohammed Sayeed at a meeting in New Delhi on Tuesday.
The chief minister sought an early sanctioning of the project under which infrastructure would be created for export-oriented industrial units.
This project envisages concession of central taxes on units to facilitate exports.
Earlier, addressing an interactive session with industrialists, organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) here, the chief minister said the state had received investment proposals worth Rs 600 crore in the last two months.
The proposals included a footwear company, which wanted set up an unit to produce 100,000 pairs of shoes, a Ludhiana-based textile industrial house and a Hyderabad-based polyester yarn manufacturers.
