Former Congress MP from Kadapa, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, who went on a 48-hour fast, spent most of his time on Wednesday morning with his supporters.
They included Anakapalli MP Sabbam Hari, Praja Rajyam MLA Bhuma Sobha Nagi Reddy, former Telugu Desam chairman Bhumana Karunakar Reddy, former ministers B Srinivasa Reddy, P Subhash Chandra Bose, former AP Industrial Infrastructure Corporation chairman Ambati Rambabu.
Though several MLAs from the ruling Congress were expected to meet him at the hunger strike camp on the banks of river Krishan today, they did not turn up.
Later, Sabbam Hari told mediapersons that the demand raised by Jagan in favour of farmers and weavers was justifiable. He said they would also seek Centre’s help for farmers and weavers.
