Japan commits Rs 8,852 cr to India

Japan committed Rs 8,582 crore in 2007-08 as Official Development Assistance to India for nine infrastructure projects which includes extension of Kolkata Metro, construction of Hyderabad Outer Ring Road as well as Haryana Power Transmission System, a finance ministry release said today.
