Jewellers take out protest march in Nashik

Jewellers in the city and other parts of the district on Sunday took out a morcha here, protesting central government's decision to impose 4 per cent import tax on gold.

Rajendra Odhekar, president of Nashik Saraf association told reporters that following Centre's decision to impose 4 per cent import tax, gold prices had gone up.

Odhekar said strike of jewellers will continue till government does not revoke the decision.
