Jharkhand Power Board Faces Cut-Off Threat From Ntpc, Dvc

National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) and Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) have served notices to Jharkhand State Electricity Board (JSEB) to pay off accumulated dues of Rs 2243.55 crore or face power dislocation.

The accumulated dues payable by JSEB to NTPC stood to Rs 1877.55 crore, including surcharge of Rs 988.18 crore. DVC
