Political tensions not withstanding, the second round of Joint Pakistan-India business council (JPIBC) meeting is scheduled to take place here today.

A 17-member Pakistan business delegation will be participating in the meeting.

"The joint task force of Pakistan India business forum meetings on textile, agriculture products, auto and pharmaceuticals will take place," said Manzoor Ali Memon, Press Attaché High Commission Pakistan.

The Pakistan delegation is represented by delegates across various sectors: Syed Yawar Ali (agriculture), Bashir Ali Mohammad (textile), Abdul Razak Dawood (engineering) and Ilyas bilour(petro).

The first round of talks were held in Islamabad in June. This council is a private sector-led body, which has been notified by both the governments.

From India's side it is co-chaired by Sunil K Munjal of Hero Corporate Service.

The second meeting was earlier expected to be held in September 5-6.
