JD(U) National President Sharad Yadav said any question of a post-poll alliance would be decided later by the party's local unit.

On the future of the coalition following the BJP's refusal to ally with the JD(U), he said the issue would be discussed at the national executive meeting.

"The polls have provided an opportunity to the people to give a resounding verdict against money, mafia power and anti-farmer policies of the two governments in Karnataka after the last elections," he said.

The JD(U), whether in government or in opposition, would press for a legislation to confiscate the "ill-gotten wealth of corrupt politicians, bureaucrats, police officials and mafia elements", he said.
