Advising Anna Hazare to be patient on the Lok Pal Bill issue, RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav today said Parliament is supreme and its panel is seized with the matter.
"We have seen Anna's Lok Pal draft and we have told him that we will examine it. Anna should have patience," Yadav told reporters outside Parliament.
The draft prepared by Anna Hazare on Jan Lok Pal Bill is currently being examined by the Standing Committee on Law and Justice and Personnel of which Yadav is a member.
Asked whether he felt that RSS was behind Hazare, Yadav answered in the affirmative. "Yes, it is."
"Anna Hazare does not have have any organisation. There must be some organisations which are behind him," he said.
However, the Rashtriya Janata Dal MP said, "Everyone has the right to protest in a parliamentary democracy. But Parliament is supreme and the Standing Committee of Parliament is looking into the issue. We are all against corruption."
