In a reversal of trends, RJD supremo and Railway Minister Lalu Prasad is trailing behind his nearest JD(U) rival Ranjan Prasad Yadav in Patliputra parliamentary constituency, while he appears locked in a cliff-hanger at Saran by leading over his BJP rival Rajiv Pratap Rudy.

According to latest trends from Patliputra, Prasad was trailing behind his friend-turned-foe Ranjan Prasad Yadav by a margin of 13,272 votes on completion of 8th round of counting of votes.

Prasad has so far polled 66,149 votes, while Yadav has secured 79,421 votes. Prasad was initially leading from the seat.

Prasad, who was initially trailing behind BJP rival Rudy in Saran parliamentary constituency after the completion of the first round of counting, is now ahead with a lead of over 3,000 votes.
