Haryana’s entire land revenue record would be linked through satellite under National Land Record Modernisation Programme (NLRMP) as a pilot project for the same was launched in Sirsa district of Haryana on Tuesday. This ambitious programme has been implemented by Union Ministry of Rural Development.
The programme is being implemented in Haryana through Haryana Space Application Centre.
The main server for the programme would be installed at the district headquarter as well as state headquarter in Chandigarh from where the concerned officers would be able to assess the present status of the land in the district by sitting at a single place.
Also, they would be able to conduct girdawari with the help of satellite and review it.
