Lashkar militants with explosives held in Delhi

Two suspected Lashkar-e-Toiba militants have been arrested in the capital with a large quantity of explosives, police said today.

Imran and Ghulam Rasool, hailing from Jammu and Kashmir, were arrested from a shopping complex in Rohini locality of in Northwest Delhi by a special cell of the Delhi Police.

Around 1.5 kg of RDX, Rs 2.5 lakh and two timers were recovered from their possession, Alok Kumar, deputy commissioner of police (special cell), said here.

While Imran is a resident of Rohini locality, Rasool had arrived in the capital a few days ago.

The duo is being interrogated to find out more details about their mission, police said.
