LCA PV-II's first flight

The prototype vehicle-II (PV-II) of indigenously designned and developed light combat aircraft 'Tejas' made a successful maiden flight here on Thursday.
 
The duration of the flight was 26 minutes, Defence Research and Development Organisation sources said.
 
It was piloted by Wg Cdr Vikram Singh, who said the PV-II "behaved well" and it was on expected lines. Tejas was designed and developed by the city-based Aeronautical Development Agency.
