Left against domestic carriers foraying abroad

Left parties today objected to the government's move to permit domestic private carriers to fly to more international destinations.
 
The government is currently framing a legislation to permit domestic private carriers to fly to international destinations other than South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation countries.
 
The Left parties are of the view that a move like this will further weaken state-run carriers Air-India and Indian Airlines.
