Left wants FIIs to be regulated & taxed

The Left has repeated its long-standing demand that FIIs both be taxed and regulated,  in a note handed to the Congress-led UPA at the co-ordination committee meeting held today. 

The Left has insisted on some kind of timebound assurance from the govt that this demand - and others in the note - will be implemented.
