TDP members today vociferously opposed the creation of Telangana leading to a brief disruption of the Question Hour in the Lok Sabha.

As soon as the House met for the day, TDP members displayed placards demanding a unified Andhra Pradesh and raised slogan against the creation of Telangana.

The TDP members, in the absence of their floor leader Nama Nageswara Rao, trooped into the Well, even as Speaker Meira Kumar took up the Question Hour.

They did not heed the Chair's repeated pleas to resume their seats.

However, after Kumar promised the TDP members that they would be allowed to raise the matter during Zero Hour, the TDP MPs relented and returned to their seats.
