The BJP yesterday said the 'Veer Savarkar' issue and the 'Tiranga Yatra' by the former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Uma Bharti would not be the major poll issues for it during the October 13 assembly elections in Maharashtra and the party would focus on the Democratic Front (DF) government's "failures" instead.

"Our main thrust in campaigning will be the on the anti-incumbency factor against the DF government's rule during the last five years ," BJP general secretary Pramod Mahajan said.
