Mahajan's condition continues to be 'critical'

BJP leader Pramod Mahajan's condition continues to be critical, more than eleven days after he was shot at by his brother Praveen.

Mahajan continues to be on enhanced ventilatory support after his acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) worsened yesterday, making it difficult for him to breathe, sources at Hinduja hospital said.

Mahajan has been on ventilatory, ionotropic and dialysis support for the past few days.

The sources said G Daver and his team of doctors are monitoring mahajan's health "minute by minute".
