The Maharashtra government has decided to step up its demand for setting up an Indian Institute of Management (IIM), a senior minister said.

</p><p class='TableClas'>Officials from Higher and Technical Education Department also said that setting up an IIM is likely to figure during the meeting. &nbsp;</P>
</p><p class='TableClas'>Maharashtra has more than 120 management institutes but not a single IIM, according to a government report. The financial capital is home to hundreds of corporates.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </P>
