The Prithviraj Chavan-led Congress-NCP ministry in Maharashtra is being expanded today.
The expansion of the 11-member ministry was put off due to delay in finalisation of names of the new entrants, Congress sources said.
The present ministry has 10 members -- including deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar -- from the Sharad Pawar-led NCP. No one from Congress, except Chavan, was sworn in on November 11.
Prithviraj Chavan was in Delhi yesterday to finalise the list of Congress ministers. He has replaced Ashok Chavan who quit this month over his alleged role in the Adarsh housing society scam.
Ashok Chavan's team had 23 ministers from Congress and 20 from NCP.
