Maharashtra receives Rs 600 cr investment proposals from AP

The Maharashtra government on Tuesday received Rs 600 crore worth of investment proposals from various industries in Andhra Pradesh.

A delegation comprising Apurva Chandra, principal secretary (industries), Manoj Saunik, principal secretary (textiles), Maharashtra government, and Bhushan Gagrani, chief executive of Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation, today showcased the salient features of the new industrial policy and the readily-available investment opportunities in their state, and held G2B (government-to-business) meetings with potential investors from sectors including pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, textiles, IT, electronics and defence in AP.
