Mamata to meet industrialists in Mumbai tomorrow

Says the approach is purely for investments

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee would meet prominent industrialists in Mumbai tomorrow.

"I am going to Mumbai to meet industrialists tomorrow to seek investments for West Bengal. Mumbai is the financial capital of the country. The approach is purely for investments," Banerjee told reporters here.

Banerjee would be accompanied by Industry minister Partha Chatterjee, Finance minister Amit Mitra, Housing and Youth Affairs minister Arup Biswas and Chief Secretary Sanjay Mitra.

Several industrialists like Harsh Neotia, Sanjay Budhia, Karan Paul and ITC chairman Y C Deveshwar were likely to be present at the meet.

The state government had also sent invitations to Mukesh Ambani, Cyrus Mistry and others.
