The Indian School of Business (ISB) has invited three more leading management practitioners to teach its students.

R A Mashelkar, the CSIR director-general, Raman Roy, the CMD of Wipro Spectramind, and M V Subbaiah, the director (external relations & innovations) of Murugappa group, will teach at the ISB as professors of management practice.

ISB recently introduced a faculty position " professor of management practice " to invite eminent industry leaders and professionals to join the faculty of ISB.

They will share their practical experiences and learnings by offering either full credit courses or "expert modules" for the PG programme in management, or through short term executive education programmes, an ISB press release said here.

Besides Mashelkar, Raman Roy and Subbaiah, other industry leaders and professionals will also be invited to join the ISB faculty in the years to come.

The earlier ISB professors of management practice include industry stalwarts such as Rajat Gupta, a senior partner of McKinsey Worldwide and chairman of the ISB, who teaches on 'Leadership and Change Transformation'; and C Rangarajan, the chairman of the 12th Finance Commission, who will teach a course on 'Understanding Economics in a Developing Economy' in January 2004.
