A couple of real estate developers and shopping malls are promoting their properties to attract the fast food chain. The location, however, is yet to be finalised.

Earlier, McDonalds got into a tiff with its namesake MacDonalds, owned by a Bangalore-based hospitality firm .

The issue seems to be sorted out as the firm has closed its two outlets . However, McDonalds will be chary about two other groups -- the swadeshi brigade and the animal rights groups. They are active against Kentucky Fried Chicken and other multinational outlets.

But given McDonalds past experience in Mumbai and New Delhi, it can be expected to have prepared a nice spread for everyone in the city - be it the agitators or the burger loving public.
