Around four superseded officers have reportedly resigned. |
This leaves two or three officers posted in Delhi who are likely to resent working under their junior. Out of them, Shashi U Tripathi is likely to be appointed to the Union Public Services Commission. Rinzin Wangdi is also likely to be accommodated outside the MEA. |
The MEA today announced a host of postings. A.Ramesh, envoy to Kyrgyzstan, has been posted to Peru. He will succeed to RV Warjri. Deepak Bhojwani, posted in Venezuela, has been sent to Colombia. As expected, Nirupama Rao, posted in Sri Lanka, will replace Nalin Surie in China. |
