| MIAL opens new departure section |

| Mumbai International Airport (MIAL) today opened a new departure section at Terminal 1B of Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (CSIA). Spread over 10,000 sq mtrs, the new departure section has a large holding area for passengers after security check and airline back-room offices. The security hold area has been equipped with four x-ray machines and six gates for boarding. Designed with a high roof having two skylight zones, the holding area has a seating capacity for 200 passengers. |
