Modern methods boost horticulture

Crossandra and jasmine were raised in 4.6 hectare and 11.54 hectare respectively on an experimental basis, according to V Madhusudan, assistant director, horticulture. Cultivation of aromatic plants spread to 55.27 more hectares. In all Rs 2.16 crore had been spent in the year for development of these crops.
