With the BJP performing poorly at the hustings, Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi said on Monday there was no full stop in politics. He also hoped that the new government at the Centre will help his state accelerate the pace of development.
"There is no full stop in politics," he told reporters while replying to questions on the BJP's performance. "I want to appeal to the new government (for support). Gujarat will take part in the development path more than earlier. Gujarat has played a major role in the development of the nation and it will continue to do so," Modi said.
He said he will fulfil the task given by the Gujarat people. "I will do so sincerely," he added.
