In the run-up to the prestigious 'Vibrant Gujarat' business summit, to be held in January in Gandhinagar, Chief Minister Narendra Modi will interact with top business leaders here tomorrow seeking investments for the state.
The biennial global summit is aimed at attracting business leaders and investors.
"Chief Minister will showcase opportunities and discuss trade partnership with the captains of the industry," an official said.
The state had attracted investment commitments of over Rs 12 lakh crore ($243 billion), with employment generation potential for 26 lakh people, during the last summit in 2009.
Gujarat is among the country's most industrialised states with top ranking business group like the Tatas, and the Ambanis present there.
It was at the personal invitation of Modi that the Tatas shifted their Nano manufacturing facility from Singur in West Bengal to Sanand in Gujarat.
