More sops for exporters likely: Kamal Nath

Commerce minister Kamal Nath today said that his ministry was preparing a cabinet note on additional tax saving measures for exports.

Speaking to the mediaperson Nath said the commerce ministry was looking at "sector specific" measures. Today he is meeting the plantation sector.

Nath also said that he was still hopeful of meeting the $160 billion export target this year.
