Giving this information after a meeting to review the preparations for the two-day investors meet beginning at Gwalior from July 29, this year, as many as 128 agreements to the tune of Rs 1,70,020 crore were signed in industry sector, an official release quoting Industry Minister Jayant Malaiya said.
The work of initial implementation of 45 of these units has begun while survey work of 69 units is under progress, the release said.
Another food processing unit established under MoU signed at Khajuraho has also started production. The units where production has begun included for other sector units, agreements for which were signed abroad.
The Minister said that the construction work has been started under 12 MoUs. Five each of MoUs were signed for industry and information technology sectors.

Malaiya also informed that the survey work for establishing 133 units, MoUs for which have been signed, was being undertaken.
The lone MoU worth Rs 2,931 crore in high education sector was signed at Indore investors Summit. In food processing sector, 38 agreements worth Rs 4,330 crore were inked and four in health sector which amounted to Rs 1,685 crore.
