Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) entrepreneurs from Uttar Pradesh, home to over 3 million such units, have urged union MSME minister Kalraj Mishra for the resolution of issues concerning the beleaguered sector.
A delegation under the aegis of Indian Industries Association (IIA) met Mishra in New Delhi recently and apprised him of their long pending demands concerning taxation, credit, etc.
Industry is highly optimistic of redressal of their grievances since Mishra belongs to UP and was elected to the Parliament from Deoria constituency in eastern UP in the recent Lok Sabha polls.
