A day ahead of an all-party delegation’s visit to Jammu and Kashmir, People’s Democratic Party chief and main Opposition leader Mehbooba Mufti on Sunday accused the state government of “sabotaging” the visit by reimposing curfew in the Valley.

Curfew was imposed on Sunday in all major towns in the Valley, except Baramulla, despite Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani’s announcement to exempt the day from protests and strikes. “The state government is bent upon sabotaging this visit... There is no rationale in the curfew imposed... I appeal to the delegation to reach out to the common man, the people of Kashmir,” Mufti said.
