Mumbai rain update: 'Under control': Maha CM

 Update at 1250 hrs:

Central Railway train services have stopped due to water-logging on tracks.

Heavy to very heavy rains are being reported from most parts of the city now.

Western Railway and Harbour line suburban trains are running late by 15-20 minutes.

Many low-lying areas have started to get water-logged again today morning. Rain waters had earlier receded due to scanty overnight rain.

According to the Met department, today's high tide timings are 1245, 1845 hrs.

Update at 1230 hrs:

Andheri, Khar subways closed. All suburban trains late.
Western Express Highway open to traffic.

Update at 1155 hrs:

Veera Desai area water-logged. Milan, Malad subways open for now.
Western Express Highway open to traffic.

Update at 0945 hrs:

A number of outbound domestic flights from Mumbai have been cancelled.

Update at 0930 hrs:

Western Railway suburban trains are running late by 15-20 minutes, as per the latest reports. Moderate to heavy rains are continuing in most parts of the city.

Update at 0800 hrs:

After a let up overnight, moderate rains have resumed at 7.00 am this morning.

As visibility remains poor, both incoming and outbound domestic and international flights have been delayed.

Most long-distance trains on both Central and Western railways have been rescheduled.
