Mumbai Rains: Low-lying areas water logged

Update at 1527 hrs:
Heavy rains in Mumbai that started early today morning have slowed down now, although, traffic movement continues to be severly impaired. According to some reports, rain water has started to recede in some parts of the city.

Most east-west connecting subways including Milan in Santa Cruz, Khar, Andheri are still waterlogged. Other subways in north Mumbai are also waterlogged slowing down traffic.

The Met has predicted intermittent heavy rains and thundershowers in the next 24 hours. The city saw light to heavy rains on most of Saturday too.
