Gautam Adani, chairman of Adani Group, has managed to come out safely from Taj Hotel in Mumbai, which has been targeted by terrorist outfits.
Adani was having dinners with some friends in one of the restaurants of Taj on Wednesday night when the terrorists entered the hotel premised and fired gunshots indefinitely.
About 200 people got holed up at the hotel. The restaurant area, however, was cordoned for security and people were evacuated early in the morning.
“Our chairman has come out safely after passing a night at the hotel. Currently, he is at our guest-house in Mumbai and will reach Ahmedabad by noon,” said a spokesperson of Adani group.
Over 100 people have lost their lives in the terrorist strike, which rocked the financial capital of the country.
