Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf on Tuesday said his country wanted to develop full-fledged relations with India and expressed the hope that when Prime Minister Manmohan Singh visits Pakistan there will be a move in the right direction towards dispute resolution. In order to resolve disputes with India, it is necessary to have full-fledged relations between the two countries, Musharraf said at an defence exhibition and seminar here. "I am hoping that when Prime Minister Manmohan Singh visits Pakistan there will be a move in the right direction towards dispute resolution," he said. "After that we can move onto colloboration. I want to see steps taken together in cooperation, confidence building and dispute resolutions," he said. Musharraf also noted that there had been an improvement in discussions with India after the recent thaw in ties."I am not disappointed at way things are moving. It is going fine. When Prime Minister Manmohan Singh comes there will be a substantive meeting," he said adding there is need for resolving disputes over Sir Creek and Kashmir to move forward. |
