Mysore to have its first auto expo

Some of the best vehicles manufactured by country's leading automobile manufacturers will be on display at a two-day mega expo of two-wheelers and four wheelers in Mysore on September 9 and September 10.

Organised by the Rotary Club of Mysore West, as a charity event for a project of the physically challenged, 'Roto Wheels "" 2006' will also have participation from financial institutions for assisting purchase of vehicles by intending buyers.

Leading spareparts manufacturers will also exhibit their products at the auto expo, which, Rotary district past governor R Krishna describes as the first of its kind in Mysore.

Some exclusive models of four and two wheels will be on show at the Chamundi Vihar Stadium, venue of the expo.

The revenue coming out of the expo will be utilised for construction of a residential home for physically handicapped students and to import training to them, he added.
