Nagendar shifts loyalties to TDP

Congress nominee for the Secunderabad Lok Sabha seat D Nagendar has switched his loyalty to Telugu Desam and will be contesting from Asifnagar Assembly constituency, which he represented during the previous two terms.

Nagendar, the only Congress MLA from the city, had earlier agreed with the Congress high command's decision to put him up for the Secunderabad Lok Sabha seat.
