Real estate body National Real Estate Development Council (Naredco) will chalk out a road map for building 60 million homes as envisaged for providing 'Housing for All by 2022' at the forthcoming 13th National Convention in New Delhi during August 19 and 20.

"A road map will be chalked for building 60 million housing units under the Housing for All scheme as envisaged by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Naredco being a real estate body wants to see this happen.The two day convention will be a platform where the policy makers, the people who actually will build the houses will discuss about the designing a policy that is practical", Vineet Gupta, secretary, Naredco (Odisha) told media persons here.

The government is targeting to build 20 million housing units in urban areas and four crore units in rural areas by 2022.

 

"The two-day convention will see around 1,500 stakeholders participating and about 50 developers from Odisha will attend it," said Manoj Kumar Tripathy, president, Naredco (Odisha).

The thrust of the convention would be on existing real estate scenario, prepare road map for various legislative, regulatory, administrative and financial reforms. It will also focus on promoting inclusive development of real estate sector, apart from discussing various aspects associated with the Housing for All by 2022 scheme of the government.
