Nasdaq drops 18pts; ADRs shine

The Dow Jones industrial average was down five points at 12,577. The Nasdaq dropped 18 points to 2479.

Indian ADRs ended mostly with gains. Wipro soared nearly 4% to $17.74. Satyam and MTNL surged 3% each to $25.81 and $7.26, respectively. Dr.Reddy's advanced 2% to $18.52. HDFC Bank and VSNL were down around 2% each to $76.61 and $20.92, respectively.
